Corsican Honey Tasting Collection — 4 × 400g

Explore four different sides of Corsican honey, from delicate floral sweetness to bold, savoury depth. This tasting collection brings together four 400g jars from Mele di Sole, produced in Corsica by Benjamin Bureau and selected by Corsica Gold Honey.

Four varieties. One jar of each. 1.6kg of honey in total.

Inside your collection

• Wildflower Honey (Toutes Fleurs) — 400g: Balanced sweetness and delicate floral notes. Enjoy with toast, yoghurt or a simple salad dressing.
• Spring Maquis Honey (Maquis de Printemps) — 400g: Soft and floral, with gentle caramel notes. Pair with fresh goat’s cheese, pastries or herbal tea.
• Chestnut Honey (Miel de Châtaigneraie) — 400g: Bold and slightly bitter, with a long finish. A good partner for mature cheeses and savoury glazes.
• Maquis Honeydew (Miellats du Maquis) — 400g: Rich and almost smoky, with a less sweet impression on the palate. Try with strong cheeses, marinades or roasted vegetables.

A taste of Corsica

These honeys are produced in Corsica, France. The maquis is the island’s wild scrubland; tasting the varieties side by side is a simple way to explore their different characters. Benjamin Bureau of Mele di Sole produces the honey; Corsica Gold Honey selects and sells the collection.

Make it a tasting

Start with Wildflower and Spring Maquis, then compare Chestnut and Maquis Honeydew. Taste a small spoonful of each before trying them with bread or cheese. Which is your favourite?

These notes describe the honeys’ typical character. Flavour and texture can vary naturally between harvests.
